Wallet App Now Supports Apple Account Cards on iOS 15.5

Apple’s Wallet software appears to have just been upgraded to allow users to add an Apple Account Card, which shows the Apple credit amount connected with an Apple ID. If you get a gift card from the App Store or Apple Store, for example, it is added to an Apple Account that was previously viewable in the App Store and Apple Store applications. The balance of an Apple Account may now be loaded to a new card in the Wallet App.

To add the card, go to the Wallet App and touch “Add Apple Account” under “Available Cards.” You can add the card as long as you have an Apple Account balance. After you’ve connected your Apple Account, you can check your balance in the Wallet App and use it to buy Apple items, apps, games, and music. When you’re in an Apple Store, it works just like any other card in the Wallet App. The Apple Account Card has replaced the iTunes Pass, which was previously available.

Apple iOS 15.5 doesn’t bring many improvements to the iPhone’s feature set. Under the hood, though, there are enough alterations. The Podcast app now has a new setting that allows users to limit the amount of Podcast episodes that may be saved on an iPad or iPhone. To keep the number of episodes on the phone, this new setting will remove previous podcasts saved on the device.
