Oregon Health Authorities reported 138 new cases on Sunday. In addition, they reported that there was no corona related death in Oregon. The authorities reported Sunday that 5,476 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry.
Oregon Health Authorities also added that the 2,713 doses were administered on Saturday and 2,763 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Saturday. The seven-day running average is now 7,755 doses per day.
The total number of COVID-19 positive patient bed-days in the most recent seven days is 1,046, which is a 5.1% decrease from the previous seven days. The peak daily number of beds occupied by COVID-19 positive patients in the most recent seven days is 162.The announcement came after Gov. Kate Brown said last week that the state will lift COVID-19 restrictions no later than June 30. Federal rules requiring masks on public transit, in airports and in medical facilities will remain in place after June 30.
