A portion of the Apple Park campus in Cupertino was vacated after first responders discovered an envelope containing a white powder substance. The incident was reported from the Santa Clara County Fire Department, a fire alarm and hazmat response were activated at Apple’s headquarters shortly after noon local time.
Apple said that employees that the Cupertino campus that the authorities concluded that there was no presence of dangerous materials. The email also asked the employees to return back to Apple Park and resume normal operations. The company did not immediately respond to the comment about the situation.Apple soon needs that all applications developed for its platform be built with Xcode 13, the latest version of the company’s development kit. The company notified developers in an update on tuesday that Xcode 12 is the lasterst version of the company’s development kit.
American multinational technology company is currently on Xcode version 13.3, which was released on March 14 alongside iOS 15.4, iPadOS 15.5, and other updates on Monday. The older version of Xcode, version 13.2, was released in December and caused some issues for developers before being resolved.
