Acer Vero product line is expanding to include new PCs and accessories made of recycled plastics and packed in recyclable materials. The product announcements, which took place on Wednesday as part of Acer worldwide Next@ event.
The company’s recent introduction of the Aspire Vero laptop, which was revealed at the company’s last global event in May and corresponded with the launch of Windows 11. Acer also announced a laptop recycling programme that may earn you up to $100 toward the purchase of an Aspire Vero laptop, in addition to the Vero items.
Acer also incorporates commercial-grade features such as a BIOS that can be locked or turned back, a discrete TPM for security and manageability, and Acer ProShield Plus, an all-in-one security solution. The Veriton Mini desktop is made from 25% PCR plastics and ships in a 100% recyclable box. It will be available with a wide range of component options and available in three sizes -each small enough to fit in a backpack or mount to the back of a display.
